Prep Zone Enters Week 3 Of Football Playoff Coverage

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Nov. 5 - It’s Week Three of the MHSAA Football Playoffs and Prep Zone coverage of the tournament continues this week on the FOX Sports Detroit Website, with four games being streamed live at 7 p.m. this Friday (Nov. 9).

This week’s coverage on FoxSportsDetroit.com will feature the following games:  Montrose at Ithaca; Saginaw Swan Valley at Croswell-Lexington; Detroit Cass Tech at Saline; and Three Rivers at Grand Rapids South Christian.

All of the Prep Zone games will be archived on the MHSAA.tv website the week after they are played for on-demand viewing.

Friday Football Overtime On FOX Sports Detroit

The Prep Zone games will also be featured each week on MHSAA Football Friday Overtime on FOX Sports Detroit at 11:30 p.m. Friday.  An encore presentation takes place Saturday at 10 a.m.   Here’s where the FFOT cameras are scheduled to be this week:

More Playoffs Games on MHSAA.tv

Each week during the Football Playoffs, the MHSAA Network and its television partner PlayOn! Sports, will produce a contest that will be available for viewing the following Tuesday on the MHSAA.tv and on Comcast Channel 900.

This week’s game is a Division 2 match-up with Birmingham Brother Rice at Walled Lake Western.  The game will be shown on Comcast Channel 900 the following Tuesday at 7 and 9:30 p.m.; Wednesday at 8 and 10:30 a.m.; Saturday at 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.; and Sunday at Noon and 6 p.m.  The game will also be available online for Xfinity subscribers at Xfinity.com/HighSchoolSports, and highlights will also be available on the Xfinity on Demand service. 

 

MHSAA Perspective

Now in its eighth season is the radio commentary MHSAA Perspective, which will air on over 60 radio stations across the state, generally during the local broadcasts of high school games.  The program runs for 30 weeks through the end of the winter sports season.  MHSAA Perspective can also be accessed from the home page of the MHSAA Website.
