The MHSAA's corporate partners help us promote four core values that are the heart of educational athletics: Scholarship, Sportsmanship, Safety and Scope. The MHSAA thanks our partners -- AT&T, Farm Bureau Insurance, Henry Ford Health System and MEEMIC Insurance Company -- for funding programming aimed at enhancing these core values.

SCHOLARSHIP

Farm Bureau Insurance, one of Michigan's major insurers, has a statewide force of 350 agents serving more than 380,000 Michigan policyholders. Besides providing life, home auto, farm, business and retirement insurance, the company also sponsors lifesaving, real-time Doppler weather tracking systems in several Michigan communities.

Farm Bureau Insurance has partnered with the MHSAA to promote the Scholar-Athlete Award.

SPORTSMANSHIP

MEEMIC Insurance Company, with headquarters in Auburn Hills, writes full coverage private passenger automobile protection and homeowners insurance for educational employees and their immediate families in the state of Michigan. MEEMIC was founded by teachers for teachers in 1950. Most representatives of the company are or were teachers themselves. MEEMIC's history of competitive pricing and a commitment to superior service has cultivated a tradition of teachers serving teachers and their families, the "MEEMIC Club."

SAFETY

Henry Ford Health System’s Center for Athletic Medicine offers a comprehensive approach to sports medicine, including surgical and non-surgical care, sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance enhancement programs. The HFHS treatment team includes sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine fellowship trained primary care physicians, as well as certified athletic trainers and physical therapists. These health care professionals are supported by the HFHS nationally recognized bone and joint research facility, including the prestigious Herrick Davis Motion Analysis Lab. HFHS is proud to be health care providers to the Detroit area’s premier sports programs including professional, collegiate, and high school athletes.
