Singles Finals Time Schedule, Friday, March 5

Friday, March 5 - Singles Time Schedule

7:30 a.m. - Check-in for boys and girls bowlers & coaches in paddock area (all classes)

8:15 a.m. - Coaches meeting

8:15 a.m. - Bowlers on lanes

8:30 a.m. - Opening ceremonies for girls

8:40 a.m. - Opening ceremonies for boys

8:50 a.m. - National Anthem

8:55 a.m. - Warm-up period on starting lanes

9:05 a.m. - First round singles begins

Format:
Bowlers roll 6 game block, move after each game. The top 16 scores will qualify for match game round.

Lane assignments: The first round qualifying block will have 7 bowlers on each pair of lanes with lane assignments made in advance and posted on the MHSAA Web site on Tuesday, March 2.

Noon - Lunch break for bowlers and coaches as first round is completed

Note: Lanes will be conditioned after first round qualifying block.

1:15 -Report to lanes for match game round. Warm-up period for match games

1:30 - Match games start (round of 16).

Format/Lane Assignments:
Pairings determined by first round scores. A bracket of 16 bowlers will be established with winners advancing to Quarterfinal, Semifinal and Finals matches. Four bowlers per pair, match play format. Bowlers will bowl a best 2 out of 3 games match, moving after each game.

2:30 (approx) - Quarterfinal matches begin immediately following round of 16. Two bowlers on each pair bowling a best 2 out of 3 games match.

3:30 (approx) Semifinal matches

4:30 (approx) Championship match

5:00 (approx) Awards ceremonies
