The Good Sports Are Winners! Award Certificate is for those schools determined to have displayed outstanding sportsmanship at selected MHSAA District and Regional post-season tournaments.

The certificate is set up with a location for you to insert your school’s name and the tournament in which you received the award.

The following are the instructions to set up a text box in Microsoft Word that should place your school’s information in the proper location on the certificate. You may need to adjust these measurements slightly to properly accommodate your printer.

1. Set the printing mode to Landscape
2. The margin specs are: Top – 3.8; Bottom – 3.5; Left – 2.0; Right – 2.0
3. You should center your type within the text box
4. The font should be New Times Roman Bold
5. The first line of type, where your school name goes, should be 36 point; the second line of type, where the tournament information goes, should be 24 point. Here’s how it should look:
