1998 Wrestling Finals Facts--March 13-14

TEAM CHECK-IN/WEIGH-IN

Coaches may pick tournament packets in the hotel lobby after 4 p.m. Thursday. Division IV will be housed and weighed in at the Radisson Hotel on Friday while Division III teams will stay at the Holiday Inn West, and may weigh-in Thursday.

Division IV optional weigh-in will be conducted Friday, March 13, from 10-11 a.m. in the Radisson Hotel. Check in the hotel lobby for the weigh-in room location. The required weigh-in will be in the same location on Friday, from 2:30-3 p.m.

Division III optional weigh-in at the Holiday Inn West is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, from 7-8 p.m. The required weigh-in will be held in the same room on Friday morning from 7:30-8 a.m.

LOCKER ROOMS

Wrestlers are reminded there will be a locker room available at the University Arena. Please check in the coaches packet for further details.

GRAND MARCH/ AWARDS PROTOCOL

Protocol for the Grand March and awards presentation expect wrestlers to be in the school uniform or school warm-ups. Hats will not be worn during these ceremonies.

TICKET PROCEDURE

All tickets for all divisions are reserved at $12.00 per division which permits attendance at the Friday and Saturday sessions for a single division. Public mail order sale of reserved tickets took place from January 2, 1998 through February 3, 1998.

All wrestlers who qualify to the Final Tournament in their division are provided a numbered order form enabling them to purchase up to four two-day tickets for family or friends. Box office sale of remaining reserved tickets is scheduled to begin Wednes day, March 11, 1998 on a “walk up” basis only.

Single session tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the event.

REMINDER

Coolers, food and drink containers of all types are restricted from Kellogg Arena and University Arena. There will be no storage available for these items at the point of entry, therefore, persons who come to the gate with restricted items will be denie d admission.
