Bracketology MHSAA style

Be sure to check out our tournament brackets for football, soccer and volleyball that we've been updating throughout those MHSAA tournaments.

They're an easy way to keep up with who a team has faced, will play next and when, and also where it might be heading for the next round. 

And anyone can register to give us a hand and update game-by-game results for soccer and volleyball events. Better yet, registering to update scores allows you to do so for any team for an entire season -- which not only will update that team's overall record in the bracket, but give us all a better idea what it has accomplished this fall.

1. VOLLEYBALL Gladwin defeated Harrison, Farwell and Shepherd to finish a repeat run in the Jack Pine Conference – Midland Daily News

2. VOLLEYBALL Coldwater and Division 3 honorable mention Bronson earned wins over Division 4 No. 7 Battle Creek St. Philip at the Coldwater Mini, while Division 4 top-ranked Adrian Lenawee Christian topped Coldwater and Bronson also defeated Adrian High – Coldwater Daily Reporter

3. VOLLEYBALL Traverse City Central swept Traverse City West in their Dig Pink match – Up North Live

4. VOLLEYBALL Cheboygan swept Pellston in their Volley for a Cure match – Cheboygan Daily Tribune

5. VOLLEYBALL Linden swept Clio in a Flint Metro League crossover – WJRT

6. VOLLEYBALL Benzie Central earned wins over Manton and Mesick – Traverse City Record-Eagle

7. VOLLEYBALL Cadillac finished league play with a sweep of Petoskey – Cadillac News

8. VOLLEYBALL Pentwater closed its regular season with a 3-1 win over Marion – Ludington Daily News
