Boys Basketball
Winter comes to a close: And with a flurry. Saginaw won its first MHSAA title since 2008, Lansing Sexton repeated in Class B, Flint Beecher won its first title since 1987 and Southfield Christian won its first title in school history after going 1-19 two seasons ago. Check back later this week for a full Boys Basketball Finals in review.

1. BASEBALL Coldwater finished a weather-delayed Division 2 District with an 8-4 championship game win over Marshall – Coldwater Daily Reporter
2. BASEBALL Division 2 No. 11 Olivet held on for a 4-3 win over Grand Ledge to win the 61st Capital Diamond Classic – Lansing State Journal

HONORS Oak Park’s Nonah Waldron and Benzie Central’s Hunter Jones received the annual Athlete of the Year awards from the Detroit Athletic Club – State Champs!
FRUITPORT The Fruitport community locally and athletic community statewide are mourning the death of longtime Fruitport athletic director Ken Erny – Grand Haven Tribune
