High 5s: Back again

Each week, Second Half recognizes multiple athletes and teams from around the state of Michigan for their accomplishments while participating in MHSAA sports. We'll begin dishing out High 5s again beginning next week.
While larger stories about the honorees will be posted to the site throughout the week, check back in this spot each Wednesday for the full list of our selections, links to their stories and a running list of honorees for the entire season.

3. GIRLS VOLLEYBALL McBain swept through the Oceola Showdown with wins over Reed City, Evart and LeRoy Pine River – Cadillac News
4. GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Ava Mauntler went over 2,000 career digs as Division 4 No. 10 Onekama defeated Bellaire and Buckley but fell to Traverse City Christian – Manistee News Advocate
5. GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING Midland Dow – an honorable mention in Lower Peninsula Division 2 – defeated Midland High 102-78 – Midland Daily News
6. GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Lake City swept Whitehall, Big Rapids and Montague – Traverse City Record-Eagle
