High 5s: Back again

Each week, Second Half recognizes multiple athletes and teams from around the state of Michigan for their accomplishments while participating in MHSAA sports. We'll begin dishing out High 5s again beginning next week.
While larger stories about the honorees will be posted to the site throughout the week, check back in this spot each Wednesday for the full list of our selections, links to their stories and a running list of honorees for the entire season.

1. BOYS SOCCER Unranked Byron Center downed top-ranked Portage Central 1-0 in Division 1 to claim its first Regional title – FOX 17
2. BOYS SOCCER No. 4 Oxford claimed its first Regional championship with a shootout win over Detroit Catholic Central in Division 1 – Oakland Press
3. BOYS SOCCER No. 9 Hartford also claimed a first Regional title in this sport with a 2-1 win over No. 15 Fennville in Division 3 – Kalamazoo Gazette

5. BOYS SOCCER Unranked Plymouth Christian Academy upset No. 3 Royal Oak Shrine Catholic to clinch a Division 4 Regional title – Hometown Life
6. BOYS SOCCER No. 10 Elk Rapids claimed a Division 3 Regional title with a 5-0 win over No. 4 Kingsford – Traverse City Record-Eagle
7. BOYS SOCCER No. 4 Lansing Christian advanced with a Division 4 Regional title win over Auburn Hills Oakland Christian – WILX
8. BOYS SOCCER No. 5 Rochester Adams scored the lone goal of its Division 1 Regional Final against Romeo – Macomb Daily
9. BOYS SOCCER No. 13 Williamston got past Ann Arbor Greenhills in a shootout to clinch a Division 3 Regional title – Lansing State Journal
10. VOLLEYBALL Erie Mason swept Ottawa Lake Whiteford to win the Tri-County Conference title, its first league championship since 1995 – Monroe News
