Every Tuesday beginning a week from today, we'll recognize the accomplishments of four MHSAA athletes and one team. And we're hoping for your help.
Please offer your suggestions by e-mail to [email protected]. Candidates often will have accomplished great things on the field of play -- but also will be recognized for other less obvious contributions to their teams, schools or the mission of high school athletics as a whole.
We won't be able to recognize every nomination. But we'll do our best to honor as many as possible. And in advance, we appreciate any suggestions you send our way.

4. BOYS BASKETBALL Jadin Mix went over 1,000 career points and also became the MHSAA career steals leader during Onaway’s 75-38 win over Gaylord St. Mary – Cheboygan Daily Tribune
5. WRESTLING A final-match pin gave Stevensville Lakeshore a Division 2 District championship victory over No. 9 St. Joseph 34-32 – St. Joseph Herald-Palladium
6. WRESTLING No. 5 Bronson clinched a Division 4 District title with a 40-20 win over No. 3 Union City – Sturgis Journal
7. GIRLS BASKETBALL Ava Mallar went over 1,000 career points in Pittsford’s 41-37 loss to Reading – Hillsdale Daily News
8. HOCKEY Saginaw Heritage downed Division 2 No. 6 Bay City 2-1 – Bay City Times
9. WRESTLING Two Macomb Dakota wrestlers reached 100 career wins as the No. 9 Cougars claimed a Division 1 District title – Macomb Daily
10. HOCKEY Division 2 No. 8 Allen Park ended Grosse Ile’s 16-game winning streak with a 4-2 victory – Southgate News-Herald
