This week's edition highlights a strong start for the Midland Dow girls basketball team, awards Game Balls to high achievers in wrestling, basketball and hockey; and celebrates retiring coaches who are among the winningest in Michigan's girls basketball and baseball history. MI Student Aid

The 5-minute program each week includes feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or network affiliates, along with "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating.

1. BOYS SOCCER No. 5 Mason held off No. 6 DeWitt in a Division 2 District Final shootout – Lansing State Journal

2. BOYS SOCCER No. 4 Oxford downed Lake Orion in a shootout to clinch a Division 1 District title – Oakland Press

3. BOYS SOCCER No. 2 Warren De La Salle Collegiate claimed its 34th District title over the last 37 seasons with a 2-0 win over Grosse Pointe North in Division 2 – Macomb Daily

4. BOYS SOCCER No. 4 Allendale downed No. 9 Hudsonville Unity Christian 1-0 in Division 2 – FOX 17

5. CROSS COUNTRY The Brighton girls – No. 5 in Lower Peninsula Division 1 – and top-ranked Northville boys clinched Kensington Lakes Activities Association championships – Livingston Daily Press & Argus | Hometown Life

6. VOLLEYBALL Big Rapids Crossroads Academy clinched its first West Michigan D League title since 2015 with a sweep of Bear Lake – Big Rapids Pioneer

7. CROSS COUNTRY Brownstown Woodhaven’s girls and boys teams clinched Downriver League titles – Southgate News-Herald

8. CROSS COUNTRY The LPD1 No. 2 Holland West Ottawa girls and No. 6 Grand Haven boys clinched Ottawa-Kent Conference Red titles – Holland Sentinel

9. CROSS COUNTRY The LPD2 No. 9  Adrian girls and Pinckney boys won Southeastern Conference White championships – Livingston Daily Press & Argus

10. BOYS SOCCER No. 10 Elk Rapids downed No. 12 Traverse City St. Francis 2-1 to clinch a Division 3 District title – MI Sports Now
