4. BASEBALL Evan Knochel returned after missing most of last season with an injury by throwing a no-hitter for Pinconning against Oscoda – Bay City Times

5. BASEBALL Spring Lake picked up an impressive sweep of Division 3 No. 3 Grand Rapids West Catholic – Grand Haven Tribune

TRACK & FIELD/GIRLS TENNIS The busiest Saturday of the MHSAA school sports calendar again saw Finals for 14 divisions of track & field and four of Lower Peninsula girls tennis provide this time 19 team champions, with a tie in Upper Peninsula Division 3 girls track.
