With the spring regular season winding down, this week’s offerings of live streams on MHSAA.tv feature live coverage of the running finals of an MHSAA Division 1 Track & Field Regional.
The School Broadcast Program at Lake Orion High School will cover the Regional action involving 17 schools beginning at 5 p.m. Friday (May 17).
In its eighth year, the School Broadcast Program gives members an opportunity to showcase excellence in their schools by creating video programming of athletic and non-athletic events, with students gaining skills in announcing, camera operation, directing/producing and graphics.
The program also gives schools the opportunity to raise money through advertising and viewing subscriptions.
All sporting events – live or delayed – are available on a subscription basis only for their first 72 hours online. They become available for free, on-demand viewing approximately 72 hours following their completion.

On Aug. 9, three members of the MHSAA Student Advisory Council participated in the filming of a video for Bally Sports Detroit that celebrates the 50th anniversary of Title IX and the opportunities it created for high school student-athletes.
Detroit Renaissance junior Christian Sanders, Clarkston senior Keira Tolmie and Dearborn Advanced Tech Academy junior DaNia Womack appear in the video produced at Bally Sports Detroit’s studio. Natalie Kerwin is the narrator. The video will appear during “Football Fridays” presented by Southeast Michigan Ford Dealers on Bally Sports Detroit and during livestreams of high school games on the NFHS Network.
Tolmie also documented the day of filming in the following Tik Tok video.
