1. BOYS TENNIS No. 3 Maple City Glen Lake claimed three singles flights to clinch its first Regional team title since 2002, finishing just ahead of No. 3 Traverse City St. Francis in Lower Peninsula Division 4 – Traverse City Record-Eagle
2. BOYS TENNIS Holland West Ottawa and Rockford shared the championship at their LPD1 Regional – Holland Sentinel
3. GIRLS GOLF Petoskey edged Cadillac by a stroke to win their LPD2 Regional – Traverse City Record-Eagle
4. BOYS TENNIS Host and top-ranked Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood was first, Goodrich was second, and Bay City John Glenn earned its first Finals berth coming in third at their LPD3 Regional – Bay City Times
5. BOYS SOCCER Adrian Lenawee Christian edged Manchester 2-1 in a Division 4 District opener – Adrian Daily Telegram
6. BOYS SOCCER No. 12 Berkley held off Birmingham Groves 3-2 in Division 1 – Oakland Press
7. BOYS SOCCER No. 6 Grand Blanc advanced in Division 1 with a 2-0 shutout of Flushing – WJRT
8. BOYS SOCCER Battle Creek Harper Creek scored the lone goal in its Division 2 game against Marshall – Battle Creek Enquirer
9. BOYS SOCCER Midland Dow downed Midland High 4-0 in Division 1 – Midland Daily News

Cross Country
Nate Carey won last season’s MHSAA Upper Peninsula Division 1 Final in 17:19.1, with Escanaba’s Joey Wolfe third at 17:28. But Wolfe edged Carey at Tuesday’s Munising Invitational – Escanaba Daily Press
Boys Soccer
Bay City Western only tied Flushing 2-2 on Wednesday, but did so coming back from two goals down to remain undefeated – and with senior Tyler Fulco netting his 14th goal already this season – Bay City Times
East Grand Rapids fell in its District opener in Division 2 last season, but played reigning Division 3 champion Hudsonville Unity Christian to a 3-3 draw Wednesday – Grand Rapids Press
Boys Tennis
Midland’s teams enjoyed a perfect Wednesday, with Midland High defeating Holt, Grand Blanc and Traverse City West and Dow taking down Okemos and Holly to move to 5-0 this fall – Midland Daily News
