LP Division 1 Flint Powers Catholic hasn’t given up a goal since Sept. 12 and moved to 15-1 on Monday with a 1-0 win over Saginaw Heritage, champion of the Saginaw Valley League North; Powers won the South – Flint Journal

East Lansing, No. 5 in LP Division 2, downed Division 3 No. 3 Williamston 5-2 in a Capital Area Activities Conference Gold Cup semifinal – Lansing State Journal

Daniel Dubois scored three goals to lead LP Division 4 No. 9 Whitehall past Ravenna 4-0, in the process setting a school record with 61 goals in his career – Muskegon Chronicle

Unranked Grand Blanc downed LP Division 1 No. 18 White Lake Lakeland 2-1 to win the Kensington Lakes Activities Association Lakes Conference title – Oakland Press

Muskegon Western Michigan Christian, No. 4 in LP Division 4, downed LP Division 3 No. 20 Wyoming Godwin Heights 3-1 on three second-half goals by Dylan Mines – Muskegon Chronicle

2. CROSS COUNTRY East Grand Rapids swept both the girls and boys Portage Central Early Bird Invitational championships – Athletic.net

3. VOLLEYBALL McBain went undefeated including defeating Battle Creek Harper Creek in the final of the Leland Invitational – Cadillac News

4. BOYS TENNIS Big Rapids won the Allegan Quad with the host finishing second – Big Rapids Pioneer

5. BOYS SOCCER Detroit Country Day downed Royal Oak in a shootout to clinch the Paul Bartoshuk Tournament title – Oakland Press

6. BOYS SOCCER Bay City John Glenn scored the lone goal of his team’s Bay County championship game win over Bay City Western – Bay City Times

7. GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING Traverse City was first and Muskegon Mona Shores second at the Ludington Relays – Local Sports Journal

8. CROSS COUNTRY Freeland swept championships at St. Johns’ Under the Lights Invitational, and DeWitt’s girls also were victorious – Athletic.net

9. CROSS COUNTRY The Brighton and Fraser girls and Northville and Livonia Stevenson boys won Lamplighter Invitational titles – Athletic.net

10. VOLLEYBALL Niles Brandywine went undefeated in winning the Coloma Early Bird Invitational – Niles Daily Star
