8. Boys Soccer: Birmingham Brother Rice scored the game’s only goal during the second half to defeat Auburn Hills Avondale 1-0 in Division 2 – Oakland Press

9. Volleyball: Division 1 No. 3 Mattawan swept Richland Gull Lake in a matchup of Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference division champs – JoeInsider.com

10. Volleyball: Houghton Lake defeated Division 3 honorable mention Beaverton for the second time this season, handing the Beavers just their third loss overall – Midland Daily News

The soccer pitch saw a league championship celebrated Monday and an upset that could cause a shuffling in the Division 1 rankings heading into District play.

1. Boys Soccer: Brownstown Woodhaven clinched a repeat Downriver League title with a 5-1 win over Lincoln Park – Southgate News-Herald

2. Boys Soccer: After the teams drew in their first meeting, Dearborn improved to 13-1-2 with a 3-0 win over Division 1 No. 9 Livonia Stevenson in the rematch – Observer & Eccentric

3. Volleyball: Division 2 No. 10 Onsted remained undefeated with a comeback win against Hudson – Adrian Daily Telegram

4. Boys Soccer: Division 4 No. 9 Hillsdale Academy finished a perfect run through the Independent Soccer League West with a 3-1 win over Hillsdale High – Hillsdale Daily News

5. Boys Soccer: No. 14 Saline and Grand Blanc played to a draw in a matchup of frequent Division 1 powers – Saline Post

6. Girls Golf: Holland Christian shot a 205 to win the Wooden Shoe Invitational by two strokes ahead of runner-up Holland West Ottawa – Holland Sentinel

7. Boys Soccer: Division 4 No. 13 Midland Calvary Baptist scored during the final minutes to preserve a 3-3 draw with Saginaw Nouvel – Midland Daily News
