Boys soccer teams moved to within one more win of the season’s final week Wednesday, and a pair of volleyball matches may end up impacting league races as that sport rolls toward the end of its regular season.
1. Boys soccer: No. 5 Byron Center got past Muskegon Reeths-Puffer 1-0 in Division 2 to advance to the Regional Final round for the first time – FOX 17
2. Volleyball: Division 2 No. 8 Ida handed honorable mention Onsted its first Lenawee County Athletic Association loss, keeping the Wildcats from clinching the league title – Adrian Daily Telegram
3. Volleyball: Traverse City Central came back after losing the first set to win the next three against Division 2 honorable mention Cadillac to give itself a chance at a possible Big North Conference title share – Traverse City Record-Eagle
4. Prep Soccer: Top-ranked Okemos scored five first-half goals on the way to a 7-4 Division 1 Regional Semifinal win over Grand Haven – Lansing State Journal
5. Prep Soccer: No. 15 Elk Rapids scored all four of its goals during the second half to come back from a one-goal deficit and defeat Gladwin 4-1 in a Division 3 Regional Semifinal – Up North Live
6. Prep Soccer: Ludington took Muskegon Orchard View to overtime before finishing a 1-0 Division 3 Regional Semifinal win – Ludington Daily News
7. Prep Soccer: Salem advanced in its Division 1 Regional with a 3-0 win over Dearborn – Observer & Eccentric
8. Prep Soccer: Melvindale advanced to a Division 2 Regional Final with a 3-1 win over Tecumseh – Southgate News-Herald
9. Prep Soccer: No. 7 Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic Prep got past rival Kalamazoo Christian 7-0 in a Division 4 Regional Semifinal – WWMT
10. Prep Soccer: No. 12 Parma Western will play in a Division 2 Regional Final thanks to a 5-2 win over Dearborn Divine Child – JTV

1. GIRLS GOLF No. 3 Okemos edged No. 4 Brighton by three strokes for the team championship, with Grand Blanc’s Kate Brody first and Okemos’ Allison Cui second individually in a matchup of the past two Lower Peninsula Division 1 Finals medalists, this time in Regional play – Lansing State Journal
2. BOYS SOCCER Division 3 No. 5 Elk Rapids clinched a fifth-straight Lake Michigan Conference championship with a 1-0 win over No. 13 Boyne City – Traverse City Record-Eagle
3. GIRLS GOLF Rockford was first and Traverse City Central second in the LPD1 Regional at Crystal Mountain – Traverse City Record-Eagle
4. GIRLS GOLF No. 6 Adrian Lenawee Christian was first and Michigan Center second at the LPD4 Regional at Lenawee Golf Club – JTV
5. GIRLS GOLF Parma Western shot a 380 to edge Plainwell by six strokes and win an LPD3 Regional – Niles Daily Star
6. GIRLS GOLF Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart won its LPD4 Regional, with Shepherd second – MI Sports Now
7. BOYS SOCCER Buckley clinched a share of the Northwest Conference championship with a 1-0 win over Maple City Glen Lake – Cadillac News
