The most exciting of limited action statewide Monday came on the volleyball court, as multiple teams won league titles and top teams from Traverse City faced off.

Volleyball
Class B No. 5 Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard repeated as Detroit Catholic League A-B champion with a win over Class A No. 8 Farmington Hills Mercy – Oakland Press
Madison Heights Bishop Foley also repeated, winning the Catholic League C-D title with a 3-2 edging of Allen Park Cabrini – Oakland Press
Harbor Springs Harbor Light Christian clinched the Northern Lakes Conference title with a sweep of Boyne Falls – Petoskey News-Review
Four of Traverse City’s best met in quad play Monday, with Class C No. 4 St. Francis beating Kingsley and Class D No. 3 Leland but losing to Traverse City Central, and Leland beating Central but also losing to Kingsley, which is unranked but moved to 50-6-3 – Traverse City Record-Eagle
From Saturday, Ludington won its first Lakes 8 Conference title by sweeping the conference tournament and regular-season schedule – Ludington Daily News

2. BOYS BASKETBALL Mason clinched its first league title since 2007, downing Lansing Eastern 58-46 in the Capital Area Activities Conference Red – Lansing State Journal
3. GIRLS BASKETBALL Riverview claimed its third-straight outright Huron League championship with a 55-25 win over Flat Rock – Southgate News-Herald
4. GIRLS BASKEBALL Lake City clinched a share of the Highland Conference title with a 49-22 win over Manton – Cadillac News
5. GIRLS BASKETBALL Traverse City St. Francis clinched a share of the Lake Michigan Conference title with a big win at Kalkaska, and Gaylord St. Mary downed Johannesburg-Lewiston to win the Ski Valley Conference for the third-straight season – Traverse City Record-Eagle
6. GIRLS BASKETBALL Hart repeated as a league champion with a big win over Hesperia – Muskegon Chronicle
7. BOYS BASKETBALL Mio finished an outright North Star League Big Dipper title run with a 60-41 win over Whittemore-Prescott – Bay City Times
8. BOYS BASKETBALL Croswell-Lexington moved back into first in the Blue Water Area Conference with a 54-45 overtime win over Richmond – Port Huron Times Herald
