Volleyball was the name of the only game in Michigan on Monday, with an annual meeting of northern powers topping today’s headliner list.

1. Volleyball: Three teams finished 2-1 at the annual ABCD quad featuring Division 3 No. 8 Traverse City St. Francis, Division 4 No. 2 Leland, Traverse City Central and Kingsley – Traverse City Record-Eagle

2. Volleyball: Division 1 No. 4 Byron Center defeated Division 3 No. 4 North Muskegon 2-0, but the Norse did sweep Allendale – Local Sports Journal

3. Volleyball: Alma’s Alyssa Leister was honored for breaking the school’s kills record the previous Saturday during a Monday sweep of Shepherd – Mount Pleasant Morning Sun

4. Volleyball: Corunna earned an emotion-fueled win against Ortonville Brandon – WJRT

5. Volleyball: Rudyard continued its unbeaten run through the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference with a sweep of Pickford – Sault Ste. Marie Evening News

6. Volleyball: Mesick improved to 18-1 with a five-set win over Manton – Cadillac News

7. Volleyball: Goodrich earned a sweep against Lake Fenton – WJRT
