Snow slowed some of the action across the state Tuesday, but there were a number of notable results to report including a couple of comeback finishes.

Boys Basketball

Belleville came back from five down after the third quarter to score 29 points during the fourth and beat Ann Arbor Pioneer 61-55 – Ann Arbor News

St. Clair trailed Port Huron by seven at halftime but came back to remain undefeated with a 59-39 win – Port Huron Times Herald

Benton Harbor also remained undefeated, posting a 55-45 win over Battle Creek Central – St. Joseph Herald-Palladium

Carson Barr tied a school record with 12 free throws as Temperance Bedford handed Ypsilanti Lincoln its first loss, 82-69 – Monroe Evening News

Walled Lake Western came back from its first loss to down much-improved Walled Lake Northern 57-50 in overtime – Oakland Press

Paw Paw handed Sturgis its first loss of the season 52-41 after starting with a 13-4 run – Sturgis Journal

Girls Basketball

Holland Calvary came back from six points down during the fourth quarter to down Holland Black River 49-46 in double overtime – Holland Sentinel

From Monday, Taylor Bryant tied a Newberry school record with 15 field goals and had 35 points total in a win over Brimley – Sault Ste. Marie Evening News

2. HOCKEY Division 2 top-ranked Hartland shut out No. 2 Livonia Stevenson to claim the overall Kensington Lakes Activities Association title – Livingston Daily Press & Argus

3. WRESTLING No. 9 St. Joseph rode out a comeback to edge No. 5 Stevensville Lakeshore 36-35 in a Division 2 District Final – St. Joseph Herald-Palladium

4. WRESTLING No. 7 Mason avenged last season’s Regional loss to Charlotte with a Division 2 District Final win, the Bulldogs’ 13th-straight – Lansing State Journal

5. WRESTLING Cheboygan claimed its first District title in this sport since 2000 with a 42-29 win over Boyne City in Division 3 – Cheboygan Daily Tribune

6. SKIING Onekama swept Lake Michigan Conference championships – Manistee News & Advocate

7. WRESTLING Remus Chippewa Hills claimed its 18th-straight District title with a 47-29 win over Reed City in Division 3 – Big Rapids Pioneer

8. HOCKEY Division 3 top-ranked Flint Powers Catholic got past Division 1 No. 5 Saginaw Heritage 6-4 – Mid-Michigan Now

9. WRESTLING Petoskey clinched its first District title since 2007, defeating Escanaba and Marquette in Division 2 – Petoskey News-Review

10. WRESTLING Division 1 No. 4 Macomb Dakota won its 10th-straight District title, getting past Clinton Township Chippewa Valley in the finale – Macomb Daily
