Volleyball
The next standout from one of Battle Creek St. Philip’s most talented volleyball families will try to finish her career this weekend as part of a fourth MHSAA championship, just like her older sister – Battle Creek Enquirer

1. CROSS COUNTRY Pinckney’s Caleb Jarema and Ann Arbor Pioneer’s Rachel Forsyth added impressive wins to their season’s work at the combined Southeastern Conference jamboree. On the team side, Pioneer swept victories; the girls are No. 1 and the boys No. 2 in their respective Lower Peninsula Division 1 rankings – Livingston Daily Press & Argus
2. VOLLEYBALL Facing game point, Division 2 honorable mention Dundee scored the final six of the fifth set to get past Blissfield – Monroe News

8. VOLLEYBALL Fruitport earned a four-set rivalry win over Spring Lake – Grand Haven Tribune
9. VOLLEYBALL Division 1 honorable mention White Lake Lakeland downed Walled Lake Central in Lakes Valley Conference play – Oakland Press
10. VOLLEYBALL Grand Blanc came back from losing the first set to defeat Flint Powers Catholic in four – WJRT
