The first of this week’s District titles were awarded Thursday – we found coverage of 31 District championships in all – and below we’ve filled today’s list with 10 of them.

1. Volleyball: Division 3 top-ranked Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central won its 18th straight District title with a sweep of No. 4 Riverview Gabriel Richard – Monroe Evening News

2. Volleyball: Grand Haven clinched its 12th straight District title with a win over Muskegon Reeths-Puffer in Division 1 – Grand Haven Tribune

3. Volleyball: Pellston also earned its 12th straight District title with a win over St. Ignace in Division 4 – Petoskey News-Review

4. Volleyball: No. 8 Northville swept three-time reigning Class A champion and current honorable mention Novi to claim a Division 1 District title – Observer & Eccentric

5. Volleyball: Mount Pleasant claimed its first District title in this sport with a five-set win over Midland Dow in Division 1 – Mount Pleasant Morning Sun

6. Volleyball: No. 6 Unionville-Sebewaing swept honorable mention Harbor Beach to clinch its eighth straight District title, this time in Division 3 – Huron Daily Tribune

7. Volleyball: Waterford Our Lady outlasted honorable mention Auburn Hills Oakland Christian in five sets to finish a Division 4 District title run – Oakland Press

8. Volleyball: No. 8 Traverse City St. Francis swept Grand Traverse Academy to clinch its seventh straight District title, in Division 3 – Traverse City Record-Eagle

9. Volleyball: Sterling Heights Stevenson won its fourth straight District title with a sweep of Warren Cousino in Division 1 – Macomb Daily

10. Volleyball: Bellaire swept Central Lake in Division 4 for its fourth straight District title – Traverse City Record-Eagle

1. Boys Basketball: Unionville-Sebewaing hung on for its first Regional title in more than a decade, downing three-time reigning Class C champion Flint Beecher 59-55 – Huron Daily Tribune

2. Boys Basketball: Holland West Ottawa took Muskegon to overtime before coming away with a 46-42 win in Class A and its first Regional title – Holland Sentinel

3. Boys Basketball: Marcellus Howardsville Christian won it first Regional title with a 58-46 victory over Bellevue in Class D – Sturgis Journal 

4. Boys Basketball: Undefeated Dollar Bay held on for a 65-64 win over Carney-Nadeau in Class D to claim its first Regional title since 1979 – Houghton Daily Mining Gazette 

5. Boys Basketball: Clarkston earned coach Dan Fife his 700th victory with a 58-35 win over Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in Class A – Oakland Press 

6. Boys Basketball: Kalamazoo Christian handed Cassopolis its only loss of the season in a Class C Regional Final, 61-48 – JoeInsider.com 

7. Boys Basketball: Romeo Weems put up one of the most incredible stat lines seen in some time – 21 points, 16 rebounds, 12 assists, 10 steals and seven blocks – as New Haven downed Detroit Country Day 92-74 in Class B – Port Huron Times Herald 

8. Boys Basketball: Hillman was tied with Mio with a quarter to play, but kept its perfect season going with a 48-44 win in Class D – Alpena News

9. Boys Basketball: In Class C, Iron Mountain claimed its first Regional title since 1994 with a 56-44 win over Calumet – Marquette Mining Journal

10. Boys Basketball: River Rouge claimed its third straight Regional title, downing Detroit Old Redford 50-43 in Class B – Southgate News Herald
