The last Finals of the 2015 MHSAA fall season were played Saturday at Ford Field, and as of this morning teams in six winter sports are allowed to begin competition.
Below is a blend of something from the weekend and a few winter headlines as well.
Football

2. GIRLS BASKETBALL Taylor Sullivan had a triple-double as Detroit Denby opened with a 56-51 win over Detroit University Prep – Detroit News

9. WRESTLING Wyandotte Roosevelt opened with wins over Dearborn and Riverview – Southgate News-Herald
