Hart came back from nine down in the first quarter to get past Shelby 49-43 in double overtime – Muskegon Chronicle

Brimley moved into a first-place tie in the Eastern U.P. Conference by handing previous lone leader Cedarville its first league loss, 60-57 in overtime – Sault Ste. Marie Evening News

Big Rapids Crossroads handed Baldwin its first loss of the season, 53-51 – Big Rapids News

Buckley remained in a tie for first in the Northwest Conference, knocking Maple City Glen Lake into second with a 78-39 win – Cadillac News

Girls Basketball

Port Huron Northern continued a tough run through the Macomb Area Conference Red, this time with a 35-30 win over Grosse Pointe North – Clinton Township Voice

Boys Swimming & Diving

Lower Peninsula Division 1 No. 3 Holland West Ottawa continued to shine with a 186-121 win over honorable mention Grand Haven – Grand Haven Tribune

Football

Lake Orion’s Chris Bell, now the school’s athletic director, ended his coaching tenure at 19 seasons and promoted assistant John Blackstock to take his place – Oakland Press

Mason's Jerry VanHavel will join the staff at Division III Mount Union after 26 seasons and 169 wins with the Bulldogs –  Lansing State Journal

1. BOYS SOCCER Fennville is the Southwestern Athletic Conference Lakeshore champion after a 2-0 win over Watervliet – Holland Sentinel

2. BOYS SOCCER Pinckney is a repeat champion of the Southeastern Conference White after clinching with a win over Ypsilanti Community – Livingston Daily Press & Argus

3. BOYS TENNIS Midland Dow – top-ranked in Lower Peninsula Division 2 – finished the regular season 24-0-1 with a sweep of Saginaw Heritage – Midland Daily News

4. BOYS SOCCER Buckley and Leland are tied for first in the Northwest Conference after Suttons Bay downed Buckley 2-0 – Up North Live

5. BOYS SOCCER Division 3 No. 6 Holland Christian edged rival Holland High 1-0 – Holland Sentinel

6. BOYS SOCCER Utica Ford drew closer to first in the Macomb Area Conference White with a 1-0 win over league leader Romeo – Macomb Daily

7. CROSS COUNTRY Sault Ste. Marie swept victories at the second Straits Area Conference meet; the boys team is ranked No. 2 in Upper Peninsula Division 1, and the girls team is No. 3 – Cheboygan Daily Tribune

8. BOYS SOCCER Division 2 No. 14 Ludington ran its winning streak to eight with a victory over Fremont – Local Sports Journal
