We’re at that point in the fall when only three sports are still playing – Volleyball Regionals begin today, Girls Diving qualification is Thursday and Football Regional Finals and 8-Player Semifinals are this weekend. So today we’re catching up with a few headlines we missed in girls swimming & diving over the weekend, plus noting a significant District Final on the volleyball court.

Volleyball: From Friday, No. 4 Southfield Christian swept 2017 Class D champion and current No. 6 Plymouth Christian to claim a Division 4 District title – MLive-Detroit

Girls Swimming & Diving: From Saturday, Lower Peninsula Division 1 No. 8 Northville won the Kensington Lakes Activities Association meet title just ahead of No. 3 Brighton – Observer & Eccentric

Girls Swimming & Diving: From Saturday, Sterling Heights won its first Macomb Area Conference division title, taking first in the Silver, while Macomb Dakota clinched an outright championship in the MAC White – Macomb Daily
