3. Girls Basketball: Junior Taylor Long scored the 1,000th point of her career as Waldron downed Burr Oak – Hillsdale Daily News 

4. Wrestling: Division 3 No. 3 Remus Chippewa Hills finished a perfect run through the Central State Activities Association Gold with a win over Howard City Tri-County – Big Rapids News 

5. Cheer: Bay City Central and Division 4 No. 2 Sanford Meridian Early College won titles at Meridian’s 31st Mustang Cheer Corral – Midland Daily News 

6. Wrestling: Division 2 No. 5 Gaylord edged Division 3 No. 5 Birch Run 29-27 and defeated Frankenmuth 51-25 – Gaylord Herald Times

7. Hockey: Brenden Tulpa scored twice to lead Division 2 No. 3 Hartland past Division 1 No. 6 Northville 3-0 – Livingston Daily Press & Argus 

8. Hockey: Traverse City West downed rival Central 8-3 to move up in the Big North Conference and also secure the McCullough Cup for the first time since the 2009-10 season – Traverse City Record-Eagle

9. Boys Basketball: Bark River-Harris picked up a significant 58-53 win over Norway in the Skyline Central Conference – Escanaba Daily Press

The Ski Finals field continued to fill Thursday, while Kalamazoo Central celebrated the return of one of the state’s top players and Freeland celebrated an incredible one-season turnaround against a league opponent.

1. Skiing: Brighton’s boys and Milford’s girls locked up Division 1 Regional championships Livingston Daily Press & Argus

2. Girls Basketball: Morasha Wiggins scored 26 points in her first game back from a knee injury to help Kalamazoo Central to a big win – Kalamazoo Gazette

3. Boys Basketball: Freeland downed Bridgeport 58-48 in overtime, avenging 40 and 45-point losses from last season – Saginaw News

4. Boys Swimming & Diving: Holland West Ottawa posted winners in all 12 events in a 189-116 win over Rockford – Holland Sentinel

5. Boys Basketball: Orchard Lake St. Mary’s moved to 2-0 with a 78-63 win over Flint Beecher – MLive-Detroit

6. Hockey: Brendan Finn scored all four of his team’s goals in Lake Orion’s 4-2 win over Clarkston – Oakland Press
