Boys basketball season tipped off all over Michigan on Monday, and as expected coverage of those games dominated today’s headlines.

Reigning Class D champion Powers North Central is pushing to break the MHSAA record for longest win streak and hasn’t lost in more than two seasons; it added an 87-19 opening-night win over Stephenson – Escanaba Daily Press
