The last “quiet” night of this winter season still saw a couple of key girls basketball matchups, impacting both peninsulas, as the rest of schools not yet in session prepare to resume next week.

2. Boys Soccer: Division 1 No. 8 Midland Dow tied rival Midland 1-1 to clinch its third straight Saginaw Valley League championship – Midland Daily News
