A 40-year school scoring record fell Thursday as wrestling Team District tournaments finished up as well.

Hillman’s Vanessa Schook broke the school scoring record going back to 1977 in a win over Lincoln Alcona – Alpena News

Houghton’s girls proved they're again among the elite from the Upper Peninsula in taking the Kiwanis Invitational title at Wawonowin Golf Course – Houghton Daily Mining Gazette
From Monday, Edwardsburg claimed the inaugural Leader Cup Golf Tournament title by 16 strokes over Dowagiac – Niles Daily Star
Softball
Frankfort finished an undefeated run in the Northwest Conference with a sweep of Benzonia Benzie Central; Frankfort is 18-0 this season – Traverse City Record-Eagle
