Boys basketball teams across the state moved into Regionals on Monday, while the state’s leading girls basketball scorer this season finished her career with Michigan’s most prestigious individual award.

Macomb Dakota scored with six seconds left in double overtime to get past Clarkston 68-66 in Class A – Macomb Dakota

Lansing Everett trailed by 12 heading into the fourth quarter against Kalamazoo Central, but scored 30 points in the final period to win in Class A, 56-49 – Kalamazoo Gazette

Also in Class A, Muskegon won a matchup of arguably the two best teams from the state’s west side, getting past Grand Rapids Christian 64-53 – Muskegon Chronicle

Williamston eliminated reigning Class B champion Wyoming Godwin Heights, 57-55 in overtime – Lansing State Journal

Ithaca set a single-season record with its 22nd win in a 79-60 Class C victory over Millington – Mount Pleasant Morning Sun

Girls Basketball

Benton Harbor’s Kysre Gondrezick made headlines all season with incredible scoring totals, and capped her high school career by winning the Miss Basketball Award – Detroit Free Press

1. BOYS SOCCER No. 12 Berkley downed reigning Division 1 champion and current No. 8 Troy Athens 1-0 in a District Semifinal – Oakland Press

2. GIRLS GOLF Petoskey won a second-straight close competition with Cadillac, edging the Vikings by two strokes to win the Big North Conference Tournament – Traverse City Record-Eagle

3. GIRLS GOLF Muskegon Reeths-Puffer won its first tournament this season, and it was a big one – the Greater Muskegon Athletic Association championship – Local Sports Journal

4. BOYS SOCCER Grand Rapids Northview defeated No. 14 Rockford and Jenison defeated No. 13 Hudsonville in Division 1 District shootouts – FOX 17

5. BOYS SOCCER Parma Western held on for a 1-0 Division 2 District Semifinal win over No. 11 Jackson – Jackson Citizen Patriot

6. BOYS SOCCER No. 9 Hudsonville Unity Christian downed No. 14 Holland Christian 4-2 in a Division 2 District Semifinal – Holland Sentinel

7. BOYS SOCCER No. 8 Bay City John Glenn downed Bay City Western 2-1in Division 2 to earn an opportunity to claim a first District title – Bay City Times

8. BOYS SOCCER Graham Bauman scored both goals as No. 3 Troy downed Birmingham Seaholm 2-0 in a Division 1 District Semifinal – Oakland Press
