Boys basketball teams across the state moved into Regionals on Monday, while the state’s leading girls basketball scorer this season finished her career with Michigan’s most prestigious individual award.

Macomb Dakota scored with six seconds left in double overtime to get past Clarkston 68-66 in Class A – Macomb Dakota
Lansing Everett trailed by 12 heading into the fourth quarter against Kalamazoo Central, but scored 30 points in the final period to win in Class A, 56-49 – Kalamazoo Gazette
Also in Class A, Muskegon won a matchup of arguably the two best teams from the state’s west side, getting past Grand Rapids Christian 64-53 – Muskegon Chronicle
Williamston eliminated reigning Class B champion Wyoming Godwin Heights, 57-55 in overtime – Lansing State Journal
Ithaca set a single-season record with its 22nd win in a 79-60 Class C victory over Millington – Mount Pleasant Morning Sun
Girls Basketball
Benton Harbor’s Kysre Gondrezick made headlines all season with incredible scoring totals, and capped her high school career by winning the Miss Basketball Award – Detroit Free Press

1. GIRLS GOLF Northville – top-ranked in Lower Peninsula Division 1 – carded a 316 to win the Kensington Lakes Activities Association Tournament – Livingston Daily Press & Argus
2. GIRLS GOLF Grand Blanc finished a team championship in the Saginaw Valley League, with Midland Dow’s Sophia Lee completing a sweep of individual wins – Midland Daily News
3. GIRLS GOLF Macomb L’Anse Creuse North dominated in winning the Macomb Area Conference White Tournament – Macomb Daily
4. VOLLEYBALL Top-ranked Mendon defeated No. 3 Battle Creek St. Philip 3-1 in a matchup of two of the best in Division 4 this fall – WWMT

7. VOLLEYBALL Negaunee claimed a back-and-forth match with Division 4 No. 10 Hancock in five sets – Upper Michigan’s Source
8. CROSS COUNTRY Alpena swept victories over Petoskey in its first race on its new home course – Alpena News
9. BOYS SOCCER McBain Northern Michigan Christian continued its title chase in the Northern Michigan Soccer League with a 3-1 win over Burt Lake Northern Michigan Christian – Traverse City Record-Eagle
