Boys basketball teams across the state moved into Regionals on Monday, while the state’s leading girls basketball scorer this season finished her career with Michigan’s most prestigious individual award.

Macomb Dakota scored with six seconds left in double overtime to get past Clarkston 68-66 in Class A – Macomb Dakota

Lansing Everett trailed by 12 heading into the fourth quarter against Kalamazoo Central, but scored 30 points in the final period to win in Class A, 56-49 – Kalamazoo Gazette

Also in Class A, Muskegon won a matchup of arguably the two best teams from the state’s west side, getting past Grand Rapids Christian 64-53 – Muskegon Chronicle

Williamston eliminated reigning Class B champion Wyoming Godwin Heights, 57-55 in overtime – Lansing State Journal

Ithaca set a single-season record with its 22nd win in a 79-60 Class C victory over Millington – Mount Pleasant Morning Sun

Girls Basketball

Benton Harbor’s Kysre Gondrezick made headlines all season with incredible scoring totals, and capped her high school career by winning the Miss Basketball Award – Detroit Free Press

2. GIRLS GOLF Northville – No. 1 in Lower Peninsula Division 1 – carded a 316 to win the Grand Blanc Invitational by 18 strokes – Flint Journal

3. BOYS SOCCER Division 3 top-ranked Detroit Country Day and No. 2 Pontiac Notre Dame Prep played to a scoreless draw – Hometown Life

4. GIRLS GOLF LPD1 No. 8 Byron Center carded a 342 to win the Mona Shores East vs. West Invitational – Big Rapids Pioneer

5. GIRLS GOLF Alpena won the Cheboygan Invitational with a 384, just ahead of Cadillac – Cadillac News

6. BOYS SOCCER Midland Dow downed rival Midland High 3-0 – WNEM

7. VOLLEYBALL Midland Calvary Baptist improved to 11-2-1 with a sweep of Sanford Meridian – Midland Daily News

8. BOYS SOCCER Division 3 No. 5 Elk Rapids downed Grayling 3-0 – Traverse City Record-Eagle

9. BOYS SOCCER Southgate Anderson downed Taylor 5-1 – Southgate News-Herald
