The final weekend of this girls basketball season saw two new champions and two of Michigan's most established programs leave the Breslin Center with 2016-17 MHSAA titles.
Girls Basketball
Class A: Flushing entered the postseason unranked but ended as No. 1 in Class A with a Finals victory over East Kentwood – Second Half
Class B: Detroit Country Day won its second title in three seasons to celebrate coach Frank Orlando's 50th season as a high school coach – Second Half
Class C: Detroit Edison Public School Academy finished a run that included its first District title and set the stage for a repeat or two over the next few seasons – Second Half
Class D: Pittsford completed a second straight perfect season and a four-year run of 103-2 – Second Half

1. WRESTLING Dearborn Heights Crestwood clinched its first District title since 2012 with wins over Dearborn High and Edsel Ford in Division 1 – Dearborn Press & Guide
2. WRESTLING Cass City ran its District streak to nine with wins over Ubly and Bad Axe in Division 4 – Huron Daily Tribune
3. BOYS BASKETBALL Port Huron clinched its third-straight league title with a 70-52 win over St. Clair Shores Lake Shore in the Macomb Area Conference Gold – Port Huron Times Herald
4. GIRLS BASKETBALL Ellsworth clinched the Northern Lakes Conference title with a 39-25 win over Burt Lake Northern Michigan Christian – Cheboygan Daily Tribune
5. WRESTLING Midland won its eighth-straight Division 1 District title, downing Saginaw United and Heritage – Midland Daily News
6. WRESTLING Romeo defeated Utica in Division 1 to extend its District streak to five – Macomb Daily
7. WRESTLING Pontiac Notre Dame Prep claimed a Division 3 District title with a 63-15 victory over Warren Michigan Collegiate – Oakland Press
8. WRESTLING Jonesville and Hillsdale claimed Division 4 and Division 3 District titles, respectively – Hillsdale Daily News
9. BOYS BASKETBALL Grass Lake remains undefeated after a 43-27 win over Michigan Center – Jackson Citizen Patriot
10. BOYS BASKETBALL Kalamazoo Loy Norrix avenged a 22-point loss to Kalamazoo Central from Dec. 14 with an 83-48 win – WWMT
