A pair of coaching milestones highlighted Monday’s statewide action as teams began to shake off the rest of their spring break cobwebs and prepare for a big finish to this school year.

Hartland’s win over Warren Mott gave coach Brian Morrison his 400th in 16 seasons leading the Eagles – Livingston Daily Press & Argus
Traverse City St. Francis’ Joey Muzljakovich threw a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts in his team’s 2-0 win over Roscommon – Traverse City Record-Eagle
Girls Soccer
Alpena’s 8-0 victory over Oscoda was the 1,000th for Tim Storch as a high school soccer coach – Alpena News

1. Softball: Muskegon Mona Shores’ Taylor Dew hit her 49th career home run against Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills to tie the MHSAA record, while her team earned a share of the Ottawa-Kent Conference Black title – Muskegon Chronicle
2. Softball: Division 1 No. 2 Caledonia and honorable mention Hudsonville remain tied for first in the O-K Red after splitting a doubleheader – FOX 17
