A pair of coaching milestones highlighted Monday’s statewide action as teams began to shake off the rest of their spring break cobwebs and prepare for a big finish to this school year.

Hartland’s win over Warren Mott gave coach Brian Morrison his 400th in 16 seasons leading the Eagles – Livingston Daily Press & Argus

Traverse City St. Francis’ Joey Muzljakovich threw a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts in his team’s 2-0 win over Roscommon – Traverse City Record-Eagle

Girls Soccer

Alpena’s 8-0 victory over Oscoda was the 1,000th for Tim Storch as a high school soccer coach – Alpena News

Brighton downed Northville 2-0 in a matchup of frequent Division 1 state powers – Livingston Daily Press & Argus

Softball

Saginaw Swan Valley, No. 3 in Division 2, continued its strong start with a sweep of Hemlock – Saginaw News
