2. GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING Standish-Sterling’s Scarlett Maison won all five events at the Bay City John Glenn Bobcat Pentathlon – Bay City Times
3. GIRLS GOLF Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central shot a 354 to edge Spring Lake by a stroke and win its Ranger Invitational – Grand Haven Tribune
4. GIRLS GOLF Grace Slocum won her third tournament already this season, in also leading Traverse City St. Francis to its home invitational team title – Traverse City Record-Eagle
5. BOYS SOCCER Troy edged rival Troy Athens 2-1 in an Oakland Activities Association Red opener – Oakland Press
6. BOYS SOCCER Bad Axe improved to 2-0 with a 3-0 win over Unionville-Sebewaing – Huron Daily Tribune
