The most impressive performance of a busy Wednesday statewide likely came from the Detroit Catholic Central boys golf team, which won a loaded Oakland County tournament with a number few teams approach.

A pair of undefeated girls basketball teams continued to thrive Thursday to lead the day’s statewide headliners.
1. Girls Basketball: Menominee moved to 9-0 this season with a 59-44 win over West Iron County – Iron Mountain Daily News
