We love these stories of sportsmanship: North Muskegon soccer keeper Gus Keur made a big save during a collision in what was then a scoreless game, but after noticed the Muskegon Reeths-Puffer opponent who took the shot still on the ground – so Keur picked up her opponent and carried her toward the sideline. Reeths-Puffer scored not long after and won 1-0, but as Keur’s mother told her, more will remember her kind act than the goal she let by – Muskegon Chronicle

1. BOYS SOCCER Division 2 No. 3 Lansing Eastern won the Capital Area Activities Conference Gold Cup final in a five-round shootout, downing Division 1 No. 3 Okemos – WILX
2. BOYS SOCCER Traverse City Central clinched a share of the Big North Conference title with a 3-1 win over Petoskey and ended up with the championship outright for the first time since 1997 – Traverse City Record-Eagle
3. BOYS SOCCER Gaylord denied Division 1 No. 10 Traverse City West a share of the BNC title playing the Titans to a scoreless draw – Petoskey News-Review
