1. Girls Soccer: Unranked Troy Athens handed No. 3 Birmingham Seaholm its first and only loss of the season in a Division 1 District Semifinal – Oakland Press

Boys Golf: Senior Mitchell Cotton led No. 9 Hartland to a Lower Peninsula Division 1 Regional title in golf, ahead of runner-up and No. 10 Northville and third-place and No. 7 Detroit Catholic Central, and a day after helping the boys lacrosse team to a Regional championship – Livingston Daily Press & Argus
3. Girls Soccer: Avery Fenchel punched in two goals to lead No. 6 Novi to a 3-0 shutout of No. 14 Northville in a Division 1 District Semifinal – Observer & Eccentric
4. Girls Soccer: Top-ranked North Muskegon earned its 17th shutout of this spring with a 1-0 Division 4 District Semifinal win over No. 10 Muskegon Catholic Central – FOX 17
5. Girls Soccer: Unranked Olivet advanced to its first District Final in this sport with a 1-0 win over No. 14 Lansing Catholic in Division 3 – Lansing State Journal
6. Girls Soccer: Unranked Harbor Beach scored with just more than five minutes to play to avenge two earlier losses with a 1-0 win over No. 17 Bad Axe in a Division 4 District Semifinal – Huron Daily Tribune
7. Boys Golf: Bad Axe edged Saginaw Nouvel by a mere stroke to claim a Regional title in LP Division 4 – Huron Daily Tribune
8. Girls Soccer: No. 2 Richland Gull Lake moved on in Division 2 with a 3-0 win over Otsego – WWMT
9. Girls Soccer: Traverse City West rolled through the second half in downing Traverse City Central 4-1 in a Division 1 District Semifinal – Traverse City Record-Eagle
10. Girls Soccer: Freshman Jordan Noble scored three goals in a 5-0 Division 3 District Semifinal win over Cheboygan – Petoskey News-Review

The first full week of this fall season teed off Monday with some especially impressive performances coming on golf courses in Grayling and Allendale.

Cross Country
Grand Haven’s girls and boys teams swept the Muskegon Orchard View Invitational, the girls taking 10 of the top 30 places and the boys winning by 37 points – Grand Haven Tribune
Girls Golf
Midland Dow shot a 345 to edge St. Joseph by two strokes and win the Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central Invitational at Grand Valley State University; Dow was second and St. Joseph fifth at last season’s Lower Peninsula Division 2 Final – Midland Daily News
Traverse City West set a team scoring record of 309 and Anika Dy set a Graying Country Club course record of 65 as the Titans won the Grayling Invitational – Traverse City Record-Eagle – Charlevoix finished second, claiming the first trophy of its three-year girls golf program history – Petoskey News-Review
Boys Soccer
Jake de Boer scored both Auburn Hills Avondale goals as his team held off Orchard Lake St. Mary’s 2-1 – Oakland Press
Girls Tennis
Gladstone, which scored one point at last season’s Upper Peninsula Division 1 Finals, downed reigning runner-up Escanaba 5-3 – Escanaba Daily Press
