The Northville girls golf team tops our list of achievers for the second straight day, but Freeland's girls cross country team ranks just a step behind after winning for the second time in five days. 

1. Girls Golf: Reigning Lower Peninsula Division 1 champion Northville followed up a first-day 318 with a 322 to win the prestigious Lober Invitational by 18 strokes – Traverse City Record-Eagle

2. Girls Cross Country: Freeland won its second invitational already this fall, at Remus Chippewa Hills – Midland Daily News

3. Boys Soccer: Gladwin’s John Grijalva had a hat trick for the second straight game, this time in a 4-0 win over Tawas – Midland Daily News

4. Cross Country: The Kingsford girls and Ishpeming boys earned championships at the Munising Invitational – Escanaba Daily Press

5. Boys Soccer: Blaise Snabes scored four goals as Charlevoix got past North Bay – Petoskey News-Review

6. Boys Soccer: Evan Johnson scored three goals as Adrian came back for a 4-1 win against Milan – Adrian Daily Telegram

7. Boys Tennis: Midland Dow swept Holly, Gibraltar Carlson and Grand Rapids Christian – Midland Daily News

8. Boys Soccer: Mikey Tibbitts scored both goals as Stevensville Lakeshore edged Edwardsburg 2-1 – St. Joseph Herald-Palladium
