3. Girls Golf: Walled Lake Central and Birmingham Groves took the top two places at the Oakland County Division 2 championship, advancing them to the overall county final – Oakland Press

Snow days put most of Monday’s scheduled action on ice, but of course there still are highlights to share – plus an incredible video about why football remains such a great and life lesson-teaching game.

Boys Basketball

Grass Lake and Whitmore Lake combined to score 195 points, with a half-court shot and 11-point fourth-quarter comeback all part of the story setting up the Warriors’ 99-96 win – Jackson Citizen-Patriot

Brimley made five first-quarter 3-pointers, but couldn’t hold on to the early momentum as Onaway came back for a 66-59 win – Sault Ste. Marie Evening News
