2. Girls Golf: Bloomfield Hills, ranked No. 8 in Lower Peninsula Division 1, shot a 327 to edge No. 6 Lake Orion by only one stroke and win the Oakland County Division 1 tournament – C&G Newspapers
3. Girls Tennis: Reigning UPD1 co-runner-up Marquette claimed a pair of singles championships on the way to winning the Great Northern Conference tournament – Marquette Mining Journal
4. Girls tennis: Although play will finish today, reigning UPD1 champion Negaunee clinched the Mid-Peninsula Conference tournament title with six flight championships so far – Escanaba Daily Press
5. Boys Tennis: LPD2 No. 5 Birmingham Seaholm edged No. 6 Birmingham Groves by a point by sweeping doubles (the teams played five doubles matches to only four singles matches) – Oakland Press
6. Girls Golf: LPD3 No. 2 Macomb Lutheran North shot a 341 to finish four strokes ahead of second-place Utica Eisenhower and win the Macomb County championship tournament – Macomb Daily
7. Cross Country: Negaunee swept its annual WIN Meet titles with Colton Yesney lowering his course record to 16:19; both Miners teams are ranked No. 3 in UPD1 – Marquette Mining Journal
8. Girls Golf: LPD2 No. 3 St. Joseph clinched its sixth straight league championship by shooting a 176 to win the fourth Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference West jamboree – St. Joseph Herald-Palladium
9. Volleyball: Morley Stanwood swept Class C honorable mention White Cloud in a match for first place in the Central State Activities Association Silver – Big Rapids News
10. Boys Soccer: Division 4 No. 20 Buckley outshot Benzie Central by 19 but had to settle for a 1-1 tie – Cadillac News

3. Baseball: Unranked Cass City scored a combined 22 runs in a sweep of Division 4 No. 3 Unionville-Sebewaing – Huron Daily Tribune
4. Track & Field: For the second straight meet, Hamilton’s Trevor Blood broke the school pole vault record, this time going 14-2 in a win over Hudsonville Unity Christian – Holland Sentinel
5. Girls Soccer: Division 1 No. 14 Saline scored with less than two minutes to play to edge Pinckney 1-0 – Saline Post
6. Girls Soccer: Callie Rich and Division 1 No. 4 Novi shut out Plymouth 1-0 to improve to 6-1-1 – Observer & Eccentric
7. Girls Soccer: Division 1 No. 3 Walled Lake Northern improved to 10-0 with a 7-0 win over Waterford Kettering – Detroit News
8. Girls soccer: Maya Dean has had a foot in every Traverse City West goal this season and helped the Titans past Traverse City Central 3-2 on Thursday – Traverse City Record Eagle
9. Softball: Grand Haven earned a 6-1 win over Rockford, last season’s Ottawa-Kent Conference Red champion – Grand Haven Tribune
10. Football: Jerry Diorio, most recently an assistant at Benton Harbor after previously leading Wayland to four playoff appearances, has been hired as Battle Creek Lakeview’s next coach – Battle Creek Enquirer
