Second Half Hits the Road

Follow Second Half as we follow the Finals over the next four weeks. Here's a glimpse of some of the coverage you'll be able to find on the MHSAA's Second Half during the next two.
Tonight: Check back late for coverage from the Divsion 1 Cheer Final at the Grand Rapids Delta Plex, plus the Team Bowling Finals.
Saturday: We'll have coverage from 56 MHSAA Individual Finals championship matches. We also will post results from the Division 2-4 Cheer Finals and Singles Bowling Finals.
March 9: We'll head back to Grand Rapids, this time to Kenowa Hills High School, for the Team Gymnastics Finals.
March 10: We'll cover at least one hockey and one swimming and diving Final, and include results from all of the rest plus the Individual Gymnastics Finals.

2. BOYS SOCCER Division 1 top-ranked Portage Central claimed a fourth-straight title in the Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference Tournament with a 1-0 win over Division 2 No. 6 St. Joseph – Kalamazoo Gazette
3. BOYS SOCCER Division 2 No. 15 DeWitt won the Capital Area Activities Conference Gold Cup with a 3-1 victory over No. 11 Mason – Lansing State Journal
4. GIRLS GOLF LPD1 No. 4 Byron Center and Muskegon Reeths-Puffer’s Sophia McCollum were champions at the Ottawa-Kent Conference Green Tournament – Local Sports Journal
5. BOYS SOCCER Division 3 No. 5 Flint Powers Catholic downed Grand Blanc 2-1 to win the SVL Gold Cup – WNEM
6. VOLLEYBALL Marysville swept Utica in a key Macomb Area Conference White match – Macomb Daily
7. GIRLS GOLF Petoskey was first and Harbor Springs second at the Traverse City Central Invitational – Traverse City Record-Eagle
8. VOLLEYBALL Bear Lake stayed in first place in the West Michigan D League with wins over Baldwin and Mason County Eastern – Manistee News Advocate
9. GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING LPD2 No. 4 Midland Dow earned wins over Saginaw Heritage and Flint Powers Catholic, the latter 96-82 – Midland Daily News
10. BOYS SOCCCER Alpena earned a 1-0 Senior Night win over Cadillac – Alpena News
