This Week in High School Sports: 10/9/15

The latest installment of This Week In High School Sports leads off with a look at two of the football division title chases in the Kensington Lakes Activities Association, hands out game balls to Amanda Hudson and Kate Svisco of Utica Eisenhower and Jared Smith of Pewamo-Westphalia and finishes with a commentary on how the Football Playoffs have changed the local landscape.  

This Week In High School Sports will lead each show with feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or from network affiliated stories and interviews. "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating, highlights the middle of the show and is followed by a closing "Perspective."

This week's edition details the legendary career of Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice football coach Al Fracassa, who died over the weekend at age 92; awards Game Balls to high achievers in volleyball and football, and explains the role and duties of the MHSAA's Student Advisory Council.
