“This Week in High School Sports” has returned with details on the “enhanced strength-of-schedule” format that will be fully implemented for football playoff selection and seeding this season, along with an overall introduction to the return of Fall sports.
The 5-minute program each week includes feature stories from around the state from the MHSAA’s Second Half or network affiliates, along with "Be The Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating.

This week's edition celebrates the first Finals champions of 2025-26, in Upper Peninsula girls tennis; awards Game Balls to high achievers in football and soccer, and introduces this fall's Sportsmanship Summit series.
The 5-minute program each week includes feature stories from MHSAA.com or network affiliates, along with "Be the Referee," a 60-second look at the fine art of officiating.
