1. Girls Golf: Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central claimed a second straight tournament title, edging Caledonia by a stroke to win the Kent County Classic – Grand Rapids Press
2. Boys Soccer: Jacob Denison posted a hat trick as Tecumseh edged annual power Dexter 3-2 – Adrian Daily Telegram
3. Volleyball: Onekama won all but two sets on the day in claiming the Frankfort Invitational championship – Manistee News Advocate
4. Volleyball: Petoskey improved to 9-0 with a sweep at the Roscommon quad – Petoskey News-Review
5. Volleyball: Spring Lake repeated as Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian Invitational champion – Local Sports Journal
6. Volleyball: Montague finished 5-0-1 in taking first at the Scottville Mason County Central Invitational – Local Sports Journal
7. Cross Country: Saugatuck dominated the boys side of the St. Joseph Invitational, taking the top spot in the team standings led by individual champ Corey Gorgas – Holland Sentinel
8. Volleyball: Utica Eisenhower swept the Utica Community Schools Quad with wins over Ford, Utica High and Stevenson – Macomb Daily
9. Boys Soccer: Lake Orion opened its season with two quick goals and a 2-0 win over Birmingham Seaholm – Oakland Press
10. Boys Soccer: North Farmington earned an early edge in league play with a 1-0 win over Rochester – Oakland Press

Girls Golf: Muskegon Reeths-Puffer shot a 325 to take a six-stroke lead on Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern during the first round of the annual Lober Classic at Grand Traverse Resort; Forest Hills Northern won Lower Peninsula Division 2 last season, and Reeths-Puffer was third – Traverse City Record-Eagle
2. Boys Tennis: Traverse City West won the Saginaw Heritage Invitational, followed by Midland; Midland made the LPD1 Finals last fall – Midland Daily News
3. Girls Tennis: Marquette won its second straight match in two days by an 8-0 score, this time over Gladstone; Marquette was the UPD1 runner-up last season – Escanaba Daily Press

Girls Tennis: From Wednesday, Negaunee downed Ishpeming Westwood 7-1 in an opening matchup between annual Upper Peninsula powers; Negaunee has won four straight U.P. Division 1 titles and Westwood has won eight of the last nine in UPD2 – Marquette Mining Journal
